Connor Livingston Serves Our Community
& Our Industry

Posted on February 22, 2021

Along with serving as a board of director for the Nebraska Pork Producers Association, Connor Livingston is now part of the board of directors for the Fairbury Chamber of Commerce in January. “Serving locally is important to me as I want to continue to have Fairbury and the surrounding communities be a great place to live, work and raise a family,” says Connor. “We are brainstorming new ideas and ways to be more involved within our community from youth to adults.”

“Serving as a board of director on the Nebraska Pork Producers Association has allowed me to bring new ideas and knowledge to the table. I have been serving on the NPPA board for the past two years and this has allowed me to be more involved with the challenges and issues we are dealing with in our industry statewide, nationally, and globally,” says Connor. “In the past two years our industry has been dealing with many challenges including keeping ASF (African swine fever) out of the United States, Proposition 12, trade policies and COVID-19. I have had the privilege of being on a few leadership groups, which has allowed me to travel around the U.S. As many of you know the swine industry is ever evolving and being engaged in these organizations is beneficial to me personally and to LEI.”

We are very excited to see Connor being a leader in our community and our industry!
