HVAC/Plumbing Technician

Join our company as we continue to grow and expand! We are currently looking to hire an experienced HVAC/Plumbing Technician to our Maintenance Team! As the HVAC/Plumbing Technician you will inspect, repair, install and alter heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration systems, plumbing/drainage systems and related equipment/facilities; as well as perform preventative maintenance and routine services.

HVAC Duties & Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC systems including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, receivers, condensers, forced air units and pumps
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections, adjustments or repairs of refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, gas and electrically operated air conditioning equipment as necessary
  • Perform electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of HVAC systems
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment such as skid loaders and small excavators

Plumbing Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, modify and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems and fixtures for commercial and residential structures
  • Perform routine inspection of plumbing and drainage systems, repair as needed
  • Service and repair evaporative coolers
  • Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron and copper
  • Operate jetting equipment to clear plugged drain lines

Requirements

  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Applicant must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to life 50 lbs. at a time
  • Operate job specific hand and power tools and equipment
  • Willing to follow all LEI biosecurity guidelines including downtime, times between sites and disinfecting
  • Two years of HVAC maintenance/plumbing experience preferred
  • Travel locally with a company vehicle
  • Maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition
  • Maintain parts and inventory of tools
